Launch Courses According To Your Vision

podcast May 14, 2021

At the start of my business journey, I fell into a trap where I was creating courses based on what my audience wanted and not aligning it with my own vision. I grew an audience, listened to what they wanted, and then launched courses to fill the need. The cycle went on and on.

Later on, I realized that the message I wanted to deliver isn’t resonating with the course I have launched. These programs do not align with my heart anymore. Therefore, it became a chore rather than a passion.

Chasing after what other people wanted led me to drive further away from my own mission. I thought that just because it was a successful course launch for others – it would be for me too. I was so wrong!

A year into my business, I felt completely lost. How did I get here? To put it shortly, I had no direction for my courses. Many people are making the same mistake.

If you’re on the same boat, don’t fret just yet. Below are some tips on how you can realign your business with your vision. Happy reading!

People follow leaders.

Instead of worrying about what other coaches are doing for their business, focus on your own. It’s time to build authority.

Now you might be wondering, how will I do that? Stand up for something you believe in. This helps you create a stronger voice that will direct your vision. The message will resonate with people who share the same ideals as you.

Take a stand for the change you want to see in the world.

Your business is there for a reason. If you ever feel lost, hold on to why you started your business in the first place - that’s to make an impact and create change. Never lose that spark and drive.

Don’t chase somebody else’s dream just because they are making money off of it. I hate to break it to you but they are making money because it is THEIR purpose that they are serving. Deliver a true and authentic message that will resonate with people!

Create polarizing content.

To be able to stand out in the online world, you need to take a stand. I  see so many coaches playing it too safe. They are afraid to be too bold and loud. People often ignore their message. I mean, if it’s too bland and boring, who would want it, right?

Your ideal client will hear you loud and clear if you take a stand. If your magnet isn’t polarizing then you might have a weak one.

Be the go-to person in your field.

Nothing is original nowadays. You have tons and tons of competition. So, how do you stand out? When you position yourself as the authority, you are bringing obvious solutions to your ideal client.

There are three ways to create massive authority:

  1. Make your client feel understood.
  2. Make transformation not as hard as they think it is.
  3. Remove roadblocks like misbeliefs, mistakes, and misconceptions.

Taking all of this information in can be overwhelming. Don’t worry - success isn’t built overnight. What matters is that you are ready to get your authority back and attract your ideal clients.

I delved deeper into how you can do business according to YOU on my podcast. Listen to the full episode here. I shared how you can analyze what’s hurting your business and how to take back full control of it.
